Happy 50th Birthday, Elyséevertrag!

Happy 50th Birthday, Elyséevertrag!

Okay, I know I’m a bit late, because the Franco-German week was last week, but there’s a good reason for this post: I’m off over the Rhine tomorrow! 😀
It’s thanks to these two men: Charles de Gaulle and Konrad Adenauer, that the Franco-German friendship exists (THANK YOU!). Without them, I wouldn’t be able to spend two weeks in Germany.
They signed the Elyséevertrag in January 1963 and that’s why, in my school, we put up posters to promote German and drew French and German flags on our cheeks.

Bis bald, Freunde! 😀 Ich fahre nach Deutschland!!! 😀
